The sashiko motifs are typical of Sakata and Tsuruoka in northern Japan. Faux patchwork cotton and tsumugi cotton give the Japanese country look.

sashiko patterns are not printed on the fabric but can be either drawn with templates or traced on. Full instructions and/or carbon paper are included in the kit
